Experimental Typography W24: Song Posters
Details of the Process Book
For the project book as seen below, I printed the final book on 80lbs Matte Text paper and stitched the book together using waxed cords. The book is sectioned into 5 signatures with 8 pages each. It is hand-stitched together using the French link stitch method as well as the traditional coptic stitch. The typefaces used in this book are Roc Grotesk for headings and Courier for the body text and captions. The objective of making a physical process book for this assignment is to allow the audience to engage with the creation and ideation process while looking at the completed posters that are 18" x 24" each.
