about

Rachel is currently pursuing an Undergraduate Bachelor’s of Design Degree at Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) University in Downtown Toronto. She is currently the Graphic Design Co-op at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) with their Transformation & Enterprise Operations (TEO) team at their Downtown Toronto head offices. She has also worked with start-ups, retail businesses, local film festivals, schools as well as non-profits on a variety of design projects. Her design experiences span from commissioned murals, branding projects to co-designing and participatory design. She was also a part of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)’s ‘Canadian Modern’ exhibition from 2022-2023 as one of their six featured student designers to showcase the future of the Canadian design industry. On top of that, in Spring of 2023, Rachel collaborated with professors from OCAD University’s Solid Black Collective to create the branding identity for Scarborough Charter, a Canadian university-wide charter that stands for Black flourishing and excellence. Rachel is passionate about exploring the potential of creating innovative solutions and storytelling through design and the power of branding. She is enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate about all-things design and is highly motivated and self-driven whenever an opportunity arises. She is currently Toronto-based but will be hoping to expand her design career to a larger scale in North-America.
